Giveaway: Bourbon Street Ball for the Cleveland LGBT Community

LGBT Cleveland Bourbon Street BallMardi Gras isn’t until March and a flight to New Orleans is a little costly; however, you can get a taste of Bourbon Street at the Bourbon Street Ball on October 27.

I recently learned about this fundraiser for the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland and I’m really excited to help spread the word by giving away two tickets.

With the Gay Games coming to Cleveland in 2014, the LGBT Community Center has been working with the City of Cleveland, businesses and other groups to nurture a strong and supportive community for LGBT Clevelanders and visitors.  Programs like Project 180 provide educational and training presentations to increase awareness of issues affecting the LGBT community and create safe work and school environments.

This is in addition to the counseling, special programming for LGBT youth and seniors, free and anonymous HIV testing, and discussion groups they have provided for decades.
